Rolling Calls
When 23 year old Walt Mendez (Dan Rosales) gets a survival job at a struggling low level NYC talent agency, his rage-aholic boss (Julie Halston) has a heart attack on the first day, leaving him alone, clueless and in charge. His shady ex-boyfriend conveniently resurfaces, coming on strong and making the job suddenly much more attractive. All heard through his headset at the office, “Rolling Calls” is a hilariously dark comedy in the vein of “Call My Agent” and “Hacks”- and makes the listener a fly on the wall as Walt tries to conquer show business…if it doesn’t kill him first.

#1 - DINE-a La-VINE
It’s Walt Mendez’s first day in his new survival job, working as assistant to a past-her-prime rage-aholic talent agent in New York City. With the help of his predecessor Teegan, he solves a big problem for their star client Kirk Savage, but creates an even bigger one for his boss.
#2 - On My Own
Left on his own, Walt tries to right the ship and learns in the process that the agency is in major financial trouble. After making a catastrophic blunder negotiating his first deal, he rallies and creates a potential opportunity for his ex-boyfriend who is suddenly very interested in him again.
#3 - You Gotta Have Faith
While Noah waits for word about Jackrabbit, the office is audited by the actors’ union and Walt is offered an opportunity in Florida. From her sickbed, Dina presses Walt to get Noah’s agency agreement signed as Walt learns a shocking secret Noah has been keeping.
#4 - Both Sides Now
Noah’s big news has the office jumping, but Walt is personally devastated. When a phone call between Noah and Dina has disastrous results, the agency’s financial troubles get worse. Walt ignores Amanda’s wishes and takes matters into his own hands.
#5 - Don’t Cry Out Loud
After Walt let his anger get the best of him, he’s forced to do serious damage control. With no prospects and the agency on the precipice of collapse, he takes a major leap and tries to salvage the Jackrabbit deal, the agency, and his good name.
#6 - Opening Doors
In the season finale, Walt’s efforts yield results as he tries to rebuild his friendship with Amanda. The agency’s fate is decided, and Walt makes plans for the future.
