Adina Verson is an actor and singer based in New York City, originally from the suburbs of Chicago and Kansas City. They attended the Chicago Academy for the Arts before earning a BFA in Musical Theatre from the Boston Conservatory and an MFA in Acting from the Yale School of Drama. Verson is widely recognized for originating the role of Rifkele in the Broadway production of Indecent, a performance they also brought to several regional theaters. Most recently, they starred as Susan in the 2025 Broadway production of Liberation, a play directed by Whitney White that concluded its run at the James Earl Jones Theatre in February 2026.
In addition to their stage career, Verson has appeared in numerous television series and films. They are notably known for their role as Poppy White in the series Only Murders in the Building. Other television credits include And Just Like That..., New Amsterdam, The Strain, and Mozart in the Jungle. Verson's theatrical work also includes off-Broadway productions such as The Lucky Ones at Ars Nova, for which they received a Lucille Lortel Award nomination, and Collective Rage: A Play in 5 Betties at MCC Theater.
