Anthony Norman is an accomplished actor, singer, and musician who has graced the stage of Broadway and beyond. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Norman's passion for the performing arts led him to Millikin University, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. His talent and dedication quickly propelled him onto the national stage, landing him roles in productions such as Sweeney Todd, Murder for Two, Grease, Crazy for You, and Bye Bye Birdie.
In 2017, Norman made his Broadway debut in the heartwarming musical The Prom, captivating audiences with his portrayal of one of the show's lead characters. He continued to impress on Broadway with his captivating performance as Oscar/Jack Kelly understudy in the national touring production of Newsies.
Norman's versatility and talent extend beyond the stage. He has appeared in films such as Newsies Live! and LOVE... RECONSIDERED NYC: Last Days of Summer, and his television credits include HBO's acclaimed series Mare of Easttown and Chicago Med.
An accomplished musician, Norman is proficient in piano, guitar, saxophone, clarinet, flute, ukulele, bass guitar, and accordion. He has showcased his musical talents in solo performances at The Green Room 42, Joe's Pub, and Feinstein's/54 Below.
Norman's most recent Broadway triumph came in 2022 when he took on the title role of Evan Hansen in the national tour of Dear Evan Hansen. His heartfelt portrayal of the socially anxious teenager resonated with audiences across the country.
