Beth Leavel is a Tony Award-winning Broadway actress best known for her versatile and comedic roles in musicals such as Lempicka, The Drowsy Chaperone, The Prom, and Something Rotten!. She has also appeared in television shows such as Smash and The Good Wife.

Leavel was born in Burlington, North Carolina, in 1956. She began performing in community theater as a teenager, and went on to study at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After graduating, Leavel moved to New York City to pursue a career in theater.

In 2023, Leavel starred as Miranda Priestly in the Broadway musical adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada. Her performance has received rave reviews from critics, and she is considered to be one of the frontrunners for the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical this year.
