Danny Burstein is an American actor and singer known for his work on the Broadway stage. He is a seven-time Tony Award nominee, and won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical in 2020 for his performance as Harold Zidler in Moulin Rouge! on Broadway.
Burstein was born in Mount Kisco, New York, and raised in New York City. He attended the High School of the Performing Arts and went on to study at Queens College and the University of California, San Diego.
Burstein made his Broadway debut in 1989 in the musical Company. He has since appeared in numerous Broadway productions, including Titanic, A Class Act, The Drowsy Chaperone, South Pacific, Follies, Golden Boy, Cabaret, and Fiddler on the Roof.
In addition to his Tony nominations, Burstein has also won two Drama Desk Awards and an Outer Critics Circle Award. He has also been nominated for three Grammy Awards.
