Jesse Eisenberg made his television debut in Get Real (1999–2000) and his film debut in Roger Dodger (2002). He gained recognition for The Squid and the Whale (2005) and Adventureland (2009). His portrayal of Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network (2010) earned him Academy Award, BAFTA, and Golden Globe nominations for Best Actor.
He starred in Zombieland (2009) and its sequels, Now You See Me (2013) and Now You See Me 2 (2016), and played Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021). He wrote and starred in Asuncion, The Revisionist, and The Spoils. His book Bream Gives Me Hiccups was published in 2015.
He made his directorial debut with When You Finish Saving the World (2022) and wrote, directed, and starred in A Real Pain (2024), which won the BAFTA Award for Best Original Screenplay.
