Katie Finneran is an American actress who is best known for her Tony Award-winning performances in the Broadway play Noises Off in 2002, and the musical Promises, Promises in 2010. She has also appeared in a number of films and television shows, including The Gilded Age, Bloodline, Brockmire, Why Women Kill, and The Michael J. Fox Show.

Finneran was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Miami, Florida. She studied acting at HB Studio in New York City and made her Broadway debut in 1997 in Neil Simon's Proposals. She quickly established herself as one of the most talented comic actresses on Broadway, appearing in such productions as Cabaret, The Iceman Cometh, My Favorite Year, and Mauritius.

In 2002, Finneran won her first Tony Award for her hilarious performance as ditsy actress Brooke Ashton in a revival of Noises Off. She won her second Tony Award in 2010 for her supporting role as Marge MacDougall in the revival of Promises, Promises.

Finneran's other notable theater credits include On Borrowed Time, It's Only A Play, and Two Shakespearean Actors. She has also appeared in a number of regional theater productions, including Hedda Gabler at the Bay Street Theatre Festival and Williamstown Theatre Festival, and The Smell of the Kill at the Berkshire Theatre Festival.

On television, Finneran has appeared in episodes of Frasier, Oz, Sex and the City, Will & Grace, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She had recurring roles on the sitcoms The Michael J. Fox Show and Why Women Kill, and she currently stars in the HBO drama series The Gilded Age.
