As of 2004, Maddie Price is a 16-year-old playwright and theater artist based in Austin, Texas. With nearly a decade of experience in theater, Maddie began her journey on stage at the age of seven, playing roles like the Mayor of Munchkinland in The Wizard of Oz. Over time, her passion for storytelling evolved from performing to creating original works.
She is developing 355, a musical inspired by the true story of Agent 355, an unsung female spy of the American Revolution. Maddie’s vision for the production is to showcase the talent and creativity of her generation, with the show being entirely written and performed by teens.
Over the past three years, she has founded her own production company and collaborated with songwriters worldwide to bring 355 to life. Maddie is driven by her dream of seeing her work performed on Broadway, amplifying the voices of young creatives in the industry.
