Mimi Quillin is a dancer, choreographer, actress, and teacher with extensive experience on Broadway and beyond. She trained in New York City and performed with the Pittsburgh and Milwaukee Ballet companies before transitioning to Broadway, where she worked closely with Bob Fosse. Quillin appeared in Broadway productions such as Sweet Charity (1986 and 1987 revivals, where she also served as dance captain), Ain’t Broadway Grand (1993), and Ragtime (1998)
Fosse awarded Quillin a scholarship to the Strasberg Institute, furthering her acting training and leading to appearances in Off-Broadway and international productions. Over the years, she has worked with choreographers like Wayne Cilento, Graciela Daniele, Agnes de Mille, and Randy Skinner. She has also taught at institutions such as the Boston Conservatory, University of California, Irvine, and the Milwaukee Ballet Company School, while coaching performers including Chita Rivera and Bebe Neuwirth in Fosse’s style.
In addition to performing, Quillin has choreographed works for stage and television, including The Music Man, Carousel, and TV series like Guiding Light.
