Pamela Hunt is a director and choreographer known for her work in both New York and regional theaters. She earned a Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Director of a Musical for The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!), which ran at the York Theatre and New World Stages in NYC. For the same production, she won the Kevin Kline Award for Choreography at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis.
Her regional directing credits include Actors Theatre of Louisville, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Cleveland Playhouse, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, and Paper Mill Playhouse, among others. Hunt has also directed at stock theaters like The Cape Playhouse, Ogunquit Playhouse, and Pittsburgh CLO, where she has staged over two dozen productions. Additionally, she has worked on developing new musicals, including a stage adaptation of The Seven Year Itch.
Hunt served as Co-President of the League of Professional Theatre Women, an organization advocating for women in the performing arts, and is on the advisory board of the Duke Ellington Center for the Arts
