R. Alex Murray

R. Alex Murray is a Brooklyn based actor, comedian, musician, podcaster, and jack of much nonsense. After graduating from Sewanee in 2006 with a degree in Theatre and English, he spent five years in Nashville writing songs, being in various bands, and acting with local companies like Nashville Rep, The Nashville Children's Theatre, Nashville Shakes, and the People's Branch. He moved to NYC in 2012 where he's continued to act on stage and screen, sing, perform standup comedy, and podcast. His podcast "Childz Play" boasts millions of downloads and features on Radio One. He's been working with Dungeons & Dragons The Twenty Sided Tavern since it was just an idea on a zoom call in 2020. Bringing the production to the stage in Pittsburgh, on tour in Chicago, and it's current iteration at Stage 42 in New York has been a career highlight, a great honor, and an absolute joy.
