Rachel made her Broadway debut in 2013 as a replacement in The Big Knife, directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes, where she portrayed the role of Dixie Evans. Although widely recognized for her television work, Brosnahan’s theatrical roots run deep, having performed Off-Broadway in productions like The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie and Othello. Her ability to capture complex emotions with nuance and depth has made her a sought-after talent in the theater world.
Brosnahan gained international fame for her Emmy-winning role as Miriam "Midge" Maisel in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, but she has continued to balance her screen success with theater. In 2023, she returned to Broadway in the revival of The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window, starring alongside Oscar Isaac.
