About

Sydney Ellen Lucas, a rising star of stage and screen, has captivated audiences with her talent since a young age. Born in Atlanta, Georgia in 2003, she moved to New York City with her family at just two years old.

Lucas's big break came in 2013 at the age of ten. She landed the role of Small Alison Bechdel in the off-Broadway production of the acclaimed musical Fun Home. Her portrayal of the spunky and introspective young Alison resonated deeply, earning her a record-breaking Obie Award (youngest recipient ever) and propelling her to national attention. The musical eventually made its way to Broadway in 2015, and Lucas's powerful performance garnered a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.

Lucas is not just a theater talent. She has also graced the big and small screens. She's appeared in films like Dude, She's Funny That Way and Girl Most Likely, and television shows including Law & Order: SVU, Royal Pains, and most recently, a starring role as Jeannie McCullough in AMC's western drama series The Son.
