T.J. Newton

Born in Bogota, Colombia and raised in Buffalo, NY, T.J. is a New York based musical theatre performer and host. Favorite credits include: “Lin-Manuel Miranda as Alexander Hamilton” in Spamilton (Pittsburgh CLO, Casa Mañana, and First National Tour), “Usnavi” in In The Heights (Pittsburgh Musical Theatre), “The Minstrel” in Something Rotten (Pioneer Theatre Co.), “Chino” in West Side Story (Connecticut Rep.). He created and hosts his own Broadway themed web series, @kikisclosetshow, where he has interviewed over 140 theatre artists.
