Legna Cedillo Jobert is a first-generation American from Kansas City and a proud daughter of Mexican immigrants. She is an NYC-based singer/songwriter, actor, voiceover artist, and dancer.
She graduated from the University of Kansas with BA in Psychology and promptly moved to NYC in pursuit of opportunities in the arts. Along with her best friend, they started soul-pop duo, LUMOS. Their EP, Only Wonder, as well as two singles, Why Would I and Heal, are available on Spotify, iTunes, and all other listening platforms. They have performed at various venues in NYC and Boston, including Rockwood Music Hall and Bowery Electric.
Along with her passion for singing and songwriting, Legna has a deep love of musical theatre and acting. She has lent her voice to various voiceover projects, most recently, MLS All-Star Challenge in both English and Spanish. She has worked with Hasbro, Disney, Warner Bros., Nissan, Spin Master, etc.
Legna believes wholeheartedly in the power of collaboration and opportunities to use our voices to empower others.
Recently seen as Ceci Lopez in the Off-Broadway musical, ¡Americano!, at New World Stages.
