Danny Mahoney / @dannymahoney1 grew up in small-town Ontario and began acting at an early age. He made his professional debut at the age of 13 playing Louis in The King And I. He went on to study drama and psychology at Queen’s University before training at LAMDA in the UK. He has lived in London for 13 years and has recently obtained his British citizenship.
Film credits include The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Love Will Take Over, and Florence Foster Jenkins. He received an Indie Series Award nomination last year for Best Actor in a Drama Series for his performance in Purgatory.
He has performed both on and off London’s West End as well as internationally. His most recent theatre credits include Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, White Fang, Afterglow, and he is currently performing in the Olivier Award winning production of Cabaret as Ernst Ludwig.
