About

Hey Survivors! As we all know, February is Black History Month and we couldn't let the opportunity go by to give our Season 1 Black Guests their flowers and appreciation for sharing insight into their journeys with us!

So join us as we share some highlights from previous guests Anastacia McCleskey (actor in "Waitress" on Broadway, "Annie Live!" on NBC), Alana Cauthen (actor in "Rent" 20th Anniversary National Tour), Nzinga Williams (Production Manager for "Moulin Rouge" National Tour), Paul Renolis (Drag Queen, actor in "Strings Attached" on Amazon Prime), T. Ashley (author of "Sight Unseen" and "Miss Agnes is Missing") and Ruffin Prentiss (actor in "Insecure" on HBO, "Elementary" on CBS).

Plus we discuss the Netflix docuseries, "High on the Hog: How African American Cousine Transformed America" which has all four episodes currently streaming and Jason shares about his recent appearance on the podcast, Tyler Geis' Basement, where he shares some of his favorite Black Films for Black History Month!

Please excuse any sound issues, Friends! We are still in a pandemic!!
