In WHAT WE FIND ON THE ROAD, TJ receives a key from his estranged ex-con father on his 18th birthday. The key unlocks a timeworn ’68 convertible and a challenge to drive across America - in hopes of repairing his family. Supported by a band of loveable oddballs and held together by humor and grit, TJ discovers that sometimes the longest road is the fastest way to home.
The film has screened at 23 film festivals around the world and has garnered critical acclaim, winning several awards including Best Lead Actor at the Pasadena International Film, a Gold Remi Award at World-Fest Houston

William Chris Sumpter is known for his recurring role on GOOSEBUMPS and his series regular role on THE MIDNIGHT CLUB. He is also known for his work as Young Ghost on Power Starz. Sumpter, began his career at the age of eleven when he booked his first job as Tommy in the hit Broadway musical Matilda. The rising actor began his training at small theater companies in New York City as well as the Professional Performing Arts school in Manhattan, where he trained for seven years until graduating from their high school in 2020. Back in 2015, Sumpter landed a role in the Musical Runaways which was performed at City Centre, as well as the Delacorte theater in 2018. After Runaways, Sumpter decided that he would move over to film and television since that was his ultimate goal. His early work included roles in short films such as Brooklyn Love stories and NYC Dreams.
Finn Haney is an alumnus of The California Institute of the Arts and recent graduate of the Terry Knickerbocker studio in New York. He most recently starred in the independent feature WHAT WE FIND ON THE ROAD, opposite Paul Guilfoyle, and has also appeared in WILLIAM, directed by Tim Disney and WHERE THE DEVIL ROAMS.
