Andréa Burns is an American actress and singer best known for her roles in Broadway musicals. She has won a Drama Desk Award and been nominated for an Outer Critics Circle Award for her performances.
Burns was born in Miami Beach, Florida, and raised in Venezuela. She began her career touring Europe as Maria in West Side Story. She made her Broadway debut in 1994 in the musical Beauty and the Beast. She has since appeared in a number of Broadway musicals, including The Full Monty, The Ritz, The Nance, In the Heights, On Your Feet!, and The Rose Tattoo.
Burns is also known for her work on television and film. She has appeared in episodes of Blue Bloods, Kevin Can Wait, Jessica Jones, and the 2021 remake of West Side Story.
