Cayleigh Capaldi was born in London, England into a show business family. She began performing from the time she was 3 years old, singing on stages around the world, and began recording professional vocals at 7 years old, lending her voice to demos, audio content for apps, and educational CDs. She has roots in musical theater performance, taking on countless regional theater roles such as Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Cinderella in Into the Woods, Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins, Jo March in Little Women. She starred in Pioneer Theater Company's 2023 production of Steven Sondheim's Putting It Together as Woman 2, and is currently in the cast of Titanique off-Broadway as a Background Vocalist u/s Céline Dion, Rose, and Ruth.
She began pursuing a career in film and television from the time she was 13, and prior to beginning her undergraduate studies in Music and East Asian Studies at Columbia University, she trained in acting and performance at NYU Tisch, AMDA, and AADA. She has starred in the short films Why Are You Here?, Spare, The Trail, and You & You. She was also featured on NBC's Law and Order: Organized Crime, working alongside Christopher Meloni and Danielle Moné Truitt, as well as HBO's Mrs. Fletcher (2019) starring Kathryn Hahn. Cayleigh also has extensive experience hosting and presenting for television, as she hosted the Discovery Channel Europe and China's Hangzhou Global Tour.
