John Benjamin Hickey, a Tony Award-winning actor, has graced the Broadway stage with his captivating performances and undeniable talent for over two decades. His Broadway debut came in 1995 in Terrence McNally's play Love! Valour! Compassion!, where he originated the role of Arthur. He garnered praise for his portrayal of the character and earned an Obie Award for his performance.

In 1997, Hickey took on the role of supporting actor in several films, including The Ice Storm and The Anniversary Party. He continued to appear in films throughout his career, such as Flightplan, Flags of Our Fathers, Freedom Writers, Then She Found Me, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and The Bet.

Hickey's Broadway journey continued in 2009 with the revival of Mary Stuart, where he played the role of the Earl of Leicester. He received critical acclaim for his performance and earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Play.

In 2011, Hickey starred in the Broadway revival of The Normal Heart, where he originated the role of Felix Turner. His performance was widely praised, and he earned a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play. His other Broadway credits include Six Degrees of Separation (2017) and The Inheritance (2019 - 2020).

Beyond his Broadway triumphs, Hickey has also appeared in numerous television shows, including Jessica Jones, The Good Fight, Manhattan, The Good Wife, The Big C, Modern Family, Hannibal, The New Normal, and Sex and the City. He has also appeared in several films, including Truth, Big Stone Gap, Get on Up, Pitch Perfect, Flags of Our Fathers, The Anniversary Party, Infamous, Freedom Writers, Then She Found Me, Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, and Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows.
