Nancy Ticotin is an accomplished actress and dancer. She is the sister of actress Rachel Ticotin and producer Marcus Ticotin. On Broadway, Nancy made her mark with her performance as Consuela in the 1980 revival of West Side Story, where she also understudied the role of Anita. She appeared in Jerome Robbins' Broadway in 1989, taking on various replacement roles, including Flapper and Anita, and understudied key characters such as Hildy and Mama Crook. In the 1994 revival of Damn Yankees, she portrayed Donna and understudied the iconic role of Lola.
Nancy’s Off-Broadway and regional work includes performances in Bernarda Alba (2006) as Servant and Prudencia, and in The View UpStairs (2017) as Inez. She played Gloria Fajardo in the 2017 national tour of On Your Feet! and Camilla in Half Time (2018). Most recently, she appeared in the ensemble of Harmony: A New Musical (2022) and served as an understudy for Buena Vista Social Club in 2023.
Beyond the stage, Nancy has appeared in films such as Ransom (1996), Hackers (1995), and Everyone Says I Love You (1996). Her television credits include recurring roles on Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, as well as appearances in Orange Is the New Black as Lola Diaz. In 2018, she made her cabaret debut at The Green Room 42 with her show The F Words: Fiery, Fabulous and Fierce. Known for her dynamic range and dedication, Nancy Ticotin continues to make an impact across theater, film, and television.
