Jai Rodriguez is an American actor and musician, best known for his role as a member of the original Fab Five in "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" and for his role as Angel Schunard in the Broadway musical Rent. He originated the role in the Toronto cast and then transferred to Broadway, where he performed in the show for over two years. He also reprised the role in the 2005 film adaptation.
Rodriguez has also appeared in a number of other Broadway shows, including Spinning into Butter, The Producers, and Zanna, Don't!. He has also starred in several Off-Broadway shows, including Tick, Tick... Boom! and Little Shop of Horrors.
Rodriguez is a versatile performer who is known for his powerful vocals and energetic stage presence. He has won numerous awards for his work on Broadway, including a Theatre World Award and a Drama Desk Award nomination.
